Is this code acceptable for recursion

In the problem remove dupIicates, I used recursion along with another function that uses a for loop. Just wanted to be sure if this is acceptable.

Hello Mayank,
your code is correct . but can u try to do the same without using check_cons function .

hint - include character(of given string) in your answer only when next character is different then current character or current character is the last character of string.
