I think output should be cbcd but code is giving segmentation fault

This line is not valid and is causing segmentation fault

*p++=*++p;
You cannot perform arithmetic operations on LHS

I think there must not be an = there.
It must be *p++;*++p;
Otherwise it will give seg fault.
