i sort the array and start traversing in the array also i make another array to store the character of first array but am stuck on how to calaculate each time a character comes

so first you can initialize a variable at starting like
int maxcount = INT_MIN;

inside the loop after you update the frequence array, then you can compare your maxcount variable with count of current character and update it is greater than maxcount.
