Actually I wasn’t getting the correct idea of this challenge and thus I checked the editorial & it showed me the problem topic as DP. So I got little bit confused about how a DP problem can be given in between. So, guide me whether I try to go through the solution right now, or I need to reach the Dynamic programming first and then start solving the challenges?

It is you can say an optimisation technique
So yes you should go ahead and solve this problem and learn from it
