The height of a binary tree is the number of edges between the tree’s root and its furthest leaf . OR the height is the number of levels. I mean height of root node is 0 or 1 as somewhere it is given 0 and somewhere it is 1.

@anishanand3733 both are correct its upto the question but mostly edges def is used so height of root is 0.
