Greedy- Dividing array

Hello sir/ma’am, I am unable to understand this question. Could you please elaborate. Do we have any constraints on dividing the array into 2 parts?? How are we deciding max and min values??

There is no constraint on dividing the array rather than the fact of dividing equally, and the max/min value will depend on how you divide and how you order, so you have to choose optimally how to divide and how to order each part, so as to achieve max and min.

Could you please elaborate how the answer is coming as 5 and 25 in the sample test case.

max= (12-(-3))+(10-0)=25
min=(12-10)+|(-3-0)|=5
