Doubt regarding Breadth First Search

In the video, inside bfs function, we are maintaining map <
T,int> visited . it should be <T,bool > right? because we are assigning visited[src] = true which is a boolean value.
Please correct me!

@SWIFTY bool values true and false can be represented by integers 1 and 0, so either works!
