Doubt in syntax of function shouldTakePlane()

What does this mean
for(let pos in edges){
let edge = edges[pos];

Shouldn’t it be
for(let pos=0;pos<=edges.length;pos++){
let edge = edges[pos];

and
for(let pos=0;pos<=edges.length;pos++){
Both iterate pos from 0 to edges.length
Try to print pos in both loops and see once
