Does it mean that robot can make -1 to 0 for the bottom 5 grids only ( What does first 5*5 mean here? )

Just read the question again , it clearly states that robot start from the bottom of grid and can change value in first 55 cells , that been if robot can’t find a way to go up then at the time of backtrack he can change value only in its first 55 cells. If robot is in first 5*5 then he can change value optimally in order to reach destination.
