Design and implementation of strtok()

when we are defining some function like

char * stroke(char *s, char del) {
// stmt
}

I got the char *s is accepting arrays of character and a single char del

but what does char * stroke() return means ?
It specifies that function also return arrays of character or something else ?

@Vikaspal yes it is returning a character array (you can think of it as the first “word” or “token”, which will also be a string because substring of a string is a string only)
