Counting sort explanation required

Can someone explain what is to be done as there is no video explanation for this sorting.

countingSort(array, size)
1)maxi=find largest element of array
2)Make count array of size maxi+1 and initialize with 0
3)for j <- 0 to size
find the total count of each unique element and
store the count at jth index in count array
i.e find freq of each element in count array
4)for i=0 to maxi+1 print ith number count[i] times.
