Compilation Error Due to String Functions

I am using the cstring class for using the functions like strcmp, strcat, etc. but I am getting the compilation error as cannot convert string to char* for arguments, I didn’t find any mention of how to use these functions with the cstring class in the course videos

I can do it using the comparator function but still I want to know how to use the string functions with the cstring class. And why are they giving a compilation error.

Copy string (function )

Copy characters from string (function )

Concatenation:
strcat
Concatenate strings (function )
strncat
Append characters from string (function )

Comparison:
memcmp
Compare two blocks of memory (function )
strcmp

strcoll
Compare two strings using locale (function )
strncmp
Compare characters of two strings (function )
strxfrm
Transform string using locale (function )

Searching:

Locate character in block of memory (function )
