Comparator class declaration

Sir,I didn’t understand the declaration statement properly,
why there is two sets of brackets like
bool operator()()
please mention If I am forgetting something from C++ basics
Thank you sir

this is operator overloading.
for eg.

  1. the function prototype for addition operator overloading would be:
    bool operator+(){
    }

  2. the function prototype for parenthesis operator overloading would be:
    bool operator()(){
    }

thanks
