While printing for stars why is column being initialized to 1 again and why does it not overwrite the value of the space at column 1?

@devanshsood2000_b7de8cac3ff0472d Column is initialised to 1 again and again because col variable here is just another count variable which makes sure that only nst stars are printed for this current row.
