Alexnet... Architecture

In Alexnet architecture,Number of neurons are 4096 in last 2 FC layer.Is it calculated or randomly taken?
For pokemon challenge ,what should I take number of neurons in last 2 FC layer?

These values were randomly taken and it could have been 20 or 8000, you may go with 4096.
