why is it easier to wrk with squared ||x|| norm with its derivative as 2*x, why is it useful??
About L_2 norm in the euclidian norm point
Hey @Adarsh-Bhargav-3064379896964870, you might already be aware that how difficult the derivative will become when we have square root within the function. So we just square the function, take its derivative which is way more simpler. Also in the formula we generally multiply by 1/2 or 2 depending on functions so that we can manage the power factor that comes in front after taking derivative of the function.
