A string input can be of any digit less than 10?

see this ques is similar to keypad problem just that they have the values of the numbers are different… (1 corresponds to something else in this ques)…by saying that the length of the string is less than 10 we mean to say that user will enter an integer whose max length can be 10…i.e a 10 digit number…
so the input can be
1234567089
12345
and strings(representing numbers) which are of the order of 10 digits
