Recently I followed this article to resolve the Outlook timeout error. The blog provides the following methods:
- Check your network connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and strong.
- Update Outlook: Make sure you have the latest version of Outlook installed.
- Disable Firewall or Antivirus software temporarily: Firewall or Antivirus software can cause timeout errors. Disable it temporarily and see if the error persists.
- Configure the timeout setting: In Outlook, go to File > Options > Advanced. Under the Send and Receive section, increase the server timeout setting.
