Doubt about java sections in cource

I’m on view binding with java section and before this section we were learning kotlin and all of the sudden java starts then again there is some kotlin and then again there are some sections of java

So my question is that will we be combining java and kotlin and to make some application what will be scenario later on. As I’ve started from the very beginning.

Doubt regarding the course content flow

I’m starting the course from the very beginning. and I’m on View Binding[java] section and I’m not just able to picture something that till now we were learning kotlin and now all of a sudden there is some java section and there is kotlin and then again there is some java. So what is the actual flow of this? Do we have to combine both java and kotlin or is it something else, please guide me here.
