Problem in the sense when I am reading an image and just displaying it without using any haarcascades for face detection the cmd works perfectly fine but when I do the face detection the script doesn’t terminate just like i showed in the previous screenshot!

Yep!
if i use sys.exit() the webcam window freezes and have to force stop
if i use destroyAllWindows() the script still keeps running and ctrl+C doesn’t work too
